![]() You will need a DeskCNC software build later than the above date. At the present time 2.1.08 is apparently the latest. Please test the homing documentation with that version. Don't forget the units of the examples are in inches. You should have an offset movement large enough to release the homing switch. Will this script, and the version you mentioned (2.1.08) work with the older DeskCNC board I have? Have they been tested with it? Moving to the home position and staying there will lock up the machine and you will only be able to move a few steps at a time until you get off the switch. Pete, it should work OK with the older board as no hardware differences are needed for this coding. I have not tested it with the 1st gen controller board. ![]() We will most likely get a report back if it does NOT. I tried homing using the G30 like you show in the example but It always starts with the x axis first. I have tried changing the mdi command to lead with z,x and y.It didn't change anything.I also changed in the setup to all three different configurations(zxy, zyx and simultaneously). Also tried an older version(2.0.0.86)and the simple home works just fine.Īs far as I know the homing commands in the documentation will only work with DeskCNC software 2.108 or later.
